Privacy policy

This is a starting draft for the Phase 1 product. Have it reviewed against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 before launch.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address or phone number, used to send sign-in codes, and the name you choose to show.
• What you submit: events, posters, business claims, organizer applications and reports, including any contact details you add to them.
• Preferences: your chosen language and district, stored in cookies on your device.
• Usage: search terms (without your identity) and basic server logs, to improve search and keep the service secure. Reports store a one-way hash of your IP address for abuse prevention, never the address itself.
• Location: only when you tap "Near me". It is used in your browser to find nearby places and is not stored on our servers.

How we use it

To run the service, review submissions, contact you about something you submitted, prevent abuse, and understand which features are useful. We don't sell personal data.

What's public

Approved events show the organizer name and the contact details you chose to publish. Your account email or phone is never shown publicly.

Your choices

You can edit or withdraw your submissions from your profile, and ask us to delete your account by writing to hello@warangal360.com.
